How to Vote
There are multiple ways to vote in the upcoming general election on November 3, 2020. Due to the spread of Covid-19, you can vote from home by requesting an absentee ballot. Otherwise, in-person voting is also available at polling locations.

If you choose not to vote in person, you may request an absentee ballot by mail.

Upon completion, applications must be mailed to your county board of elections no later than one week before the election, OR one day before the election if delivered in person.
Option 2: You may request an absentee ballot by sending a letter to your county board of elections. The letter must be received by the county board no earlier than 30 days and no later than 7 days before the election.
The letter must contain:
the address where you are registered
an address where the ballot is to be sent
the reason for the request, and
the signature of the voter
You will receive an application form and a ballot in the mail. Both must be completed and mailed back.
OR
If you cannot pick up your ballot or receive it in the mail, you may designate one person on your application to pick it up for you.They are the only person allowed to pick up your ballot.
